My passion for bridal started in 1989 when my extraordinarily talented mother became head of alterations here at Wendy's. She mentored me for three years as I tailored and learned textiles and fit for bridal. By the early 1990's I was working 1-on-1 with brides and styling them; I loved it. I never lose sight of the privilege of helping a bride find the perfect gown for her big day, and seeing her glow when she finds the right dress never gets old. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 38 years. We have two terrific grown sons and two amazing daughters-in-law. When I'm not working with brides, my favorite things are playing with my four fun-loving grandchildren, spending time in nature with walks, and dipping my toes in the sand. I thrive on my faith, music, good food, coffee, and of course, wine.

I began my career in bridal in 1989 with the encouragement of my mother. I knew quickly that this was something that I was going to do for a long time. Many trends and styles have changed over the years, but this one thing has not. I still feel honored and privileged every day to be able to help brides as they plan one of the most important days of their lives. I am the mother of three beautiful grown daughters. In my personal time, I love to garden with my husband, travel, enjoy nature, and I love being adventurous with cooking. I am a foodie and a wine enthusiast.

I have always loved helping people see themselves in the beauty that others see in them. Working in bridal was a natural extension of that desire to help others feel special and beautiful. Being here at Wendy's for the past several years has been a great experience. Seeing my brides beam when they find "the dress" makes me so happy and fulfilled. When I'm not working at Wendy's, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband of 10 years whether we're playing games, seeing a movie, or enjoying a beautiful afternoon at the zoo.

I am the wife and mother of three amazing kids that are now adults. I also have two wonderful fur babies that make me laugh every day. I have always been in sales since I was in high school and I love talking up the perfect product to anyone who will listen, (even total strangers at the grocery store). When I decided to enter the bridal industry I didn’t realize what an impact it would have on my life as well as on the brides and their guests. There is nothing more satisfying to me than seeing the look on my bride's face when they find their dream dress. Knowing that they will walk towards the love of their life in a dress that I helped them find is a fantastic feeling. The tears, hugs, smiles, and joy knowing that I had a little hand in this is pretty remarkable!

Growing up, my favorite activity was dress up! Whether it was with with my beloved Barbies, or my reluctant little sister, I could play dress up for hours. Now as a "grown-up," I can happily say that passion hasn't left; I play life-size barbie for a living! After 1 year at Wendy's Bridal and 4 years in the bridal industry, my love for bridesmaids has only been solidified. At any point in the day, you can find me creating color palettes, playing with different textures and silhouettes, or helping my brides bring their unique visions to life. When not at work I can be found walking my two dogs, Benedict and Basil, through downtown Powell and trying new restaurants!

Although I am new to bridal, after 1 year I have fallen in Iove with the industry. My passion for marketing started when I realized the impact social media can have on a business. I enjoy creating everything from silly TikToks, to mood boards, to analytic reports. When I am not shooting content for the store you can find me chasing my 2 feisty kitties or daydreaming of the being back at the beach!

I have worked at Wendy's Bridal for 26 years and have been the alterations manager for 15. I apprenticed under several of Columbus' top bridal seamstresses. I enjoy bringing out my brides' natural beauty with the perfect fit of their gown. I will often incorporate a memento from a Ioved one into the inside of the gown. This is always a special moment that I share with my brides and their families. If you ever need a smile, just ask me how many days till Christmas; I always know.

When I was young growing up in Germany, I started sewing guided by my grandmother. When I moved here, my passion for sewing continued to grow and flourish. I have now been with Wendy's Bridal for 24 years. My first love is sewing, but the priceless reactions I receive from each and every bride when they see their perfectly altered gown is why I am a seamstress. My work brings me great joy, and working at Wendy's has given me a great way to share that happiness.

I have been working in fashion and entertainment for 30 years. I use a lifetime of experience and my degree in engineering to handcraft and alter every dress to each bride's unique body type. My designs have been worn by European pop stars, politicians, and of course Wendy's brides. My favorite moment is seeing the smile and joy on my brides' faces when they try on their finished gowns.

I have had a passion and love for sewing since I was a little girl. Before immigrating to the United States in 1997, I completed both a law degree and PHD in Aerospace Engineering. Once settled here I decided to return to my love of creating and worked to better my skills. I joined the Wendy's team in 2017. My favorite part of working with brides is my chance to be creative and I especially love to create customized looks for my brides.
